As World Mental Health Day this year falls on a Saturday, the annual CGMH seminar is hosting to coincide with Uganda's Independence Day on October 9th, starting at 5pm at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. The topic is: "Dignity and independence - Re-imagining Ugandan mental health care in the post colonial era." Events programme and RSVP information to follow.

Mobile health clinics help tackle post-earthquake mental health problems

As Nepal struggles to deal with the physical aftermath of the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that struck on 25 April, the country also has to deal with a rise in mental health disorders triggered by the disaster.

Annual report 2014

The French World Health Organization Collaborating Centre for Research and Training in Mental Health (WHOCC Lille, France) has just published his annual report for 2014. Let us call back that WHO has redesignated the Centre for a period of four years (2014-2018). Four Terms of References have been defined. This document is thus constructed in four chapters.
